Blog Labels are an important concept in theQsphere. Labels provide an easy way to locate content about a specific topic where many topics, articles, or authors are associated with a single blog. All blog pages have Labels so use them to narrow or filter your article view. Read more...
In theQsphere, you can add a self-portrait or select an avatar from the embedded library. Avatars are the small photo or piece of clipart that appears next to your name. People see your avatar next to posts you've made in the system. To upload your own image, use "My Settings" when logged in, select the "Avatars" tab, then upload your file from a local drive. In theQsphere, you can designate people as "friends." You can also see what any member has done in the system simply by clicking on their name anywhere it appears. To add a friend, simply click on their name, then click "Add username to Friends." By doing this, you see when they are online, you can see things they've written, you can see their personal information (if they are exposing it to friends), and much more. Read more...
In theQsphere, you can add personal information such as your bio, a link to your web site, messaging information, and much more. You can also determine who personal information is exposed to, for example, friends only (the default setting). Read more...
In theQsphere, most content (boards, blogs etc) can be subscribed to. What this means is that the system will automatically notify you via email when someone adds something new to the board or blog you're interested in. The benefit is that you don't need to log in all the time to see whether someone has answered your question or responded to your comment! If you subscribe to a blog, for example, the system will automatically notify you via email when someone adds a new article. Read more...
