is there ever a time when it is appropriate for a nurse to charge for a procedure done on an Inpatient (ICU or otherwise)?
Examples we wonder about;
Invasive pacemaker insertion; Central line insertion; paracentesis, thoracentesis, bed side tracheotomy; CVP
We realize that these are procedures done by the physican, but can we charge a technical charge?
