2010 Trustee Conferences Information

We are making available this electronic copy in advance for two reasons.  First, the date of the Charlotte Trustee Conference has been changed to September 13 - 15, 2010 (it was previously scheduled to occur in May).  Note that this is a Monday-Wednesday, so that anyone wishing to stay over a weekend should plan to arrive the prior Friday or Saturday.  The hotel is making rooms available at our group rate for these days as well.  Monday September 13 will be the 1/2 day workshop for Board Leaders (12 - 5 p.m.), and the full conference starts on Tuesday, September 14.  Please alert your trustees who might have been planning to attend the Charlotte conference to adjust the date in their calendar.

Secondly, we need your help generating awareness and interest among your trustees to attend the March 2010 Trustee Conference in Phoenix  (unless they prefer to attend our conference in Charlotte).  You can find information about both conferences in the attached brochure.  Your trustees have also received a Save the Date card publicizing the conferences.  The Pre-Conference Workshop for Board Leaders was organized in response to many requests from trustee board chairs new to this role.  Even seasoned board chairs can improve their leadership skills by attending this event!

A Trustee Conference Agenda is also attached.  Our theme is "Keeping Your Hospital Healthy in the New Decade."  We believe this agenda will provide our client trustees with valuable information they need to lead their hospitals, and look forward to the opportunity for our corporate leaders to spend time with and listen to our clients.
